Ving doubles capacity from Jönköping to Gran Canaria this winter.
The desire to travel from Jönköping Airport is great, to say the least. 7 out of 10 summer trips with Ving to Mallorca and Croatia are already booked and occupancy for the summer is now 6 percentage points better than pre-pandemic, summer 2019. In order to meet the high demand, Ving now comes with happy news for the winter when the capacity to Gran Canaria will double . **

-There is no doubt that our direct charter from Jönköping Airport is appreciated. We saw early on a high demand for summer trips to Mallorca and Croatia and that we now have a better booking situation than before the pandemic says a lot about how big the desire to travel is. That's why it feels extra nice to be able to announce that we are now doubling the number of places for the winter to enable more Jönköping residents to get away, says Claes Pellvik, communications manager Ving.
On April 25, the season began to Mallorca, where Ving flies with its own airline Sunclass Airlines every Tuesday until August 1. Croatia is another favorite which this year for the first time in several years is back in Ving's program from Jönköping, the last time was summer 2019. Ving flies to Croatia during the latter part of August until the end of September.
Now there is also good news for the winter when Ving is doubling its capacity to Gran Canaria. The service to the popular Canary Island will start in time for the autumn holidays, on 25 October, and departures will then take place every Wednesday until 27 March 2024.
